    Little Big Contra
    Saturday, February 28, 2009

The guys at NeoGAF made an awesome collaborative project to re-create 8 stages of the classic game Contra via PS3's exclusive IP Little Big Planet.

The original game was the 1st simultaneous cooperative game me and my brother got our grubby little hands on. Lotsa good times and teamwork back then (which came very handy on our Gears of War campaigns) so seeing the video above instantly took me down nostalgia land, but this time "Innnn 3-DDDDD!!!!"

Awww, that is one cute sibling portrait right there... Wait, what?!
    Monday, February 16, 2009

The boy is actually the baby's dad. (Jeebus! What is this world coming to)

13 year old dad Alfie Patten with his 5 day old, 7lb. 3oz. daughter Maisie Roxanne

Completing the family portrait: Alfie, Maisie, and Chantelle Steadman. The 15 year old Mom.

Kids these days not only say the darndest things, they do them as well.

It's cool that they decided against an abortion for 'Little Maisie' (I originally wanted to put the word "the child" there, but technically all of them still are) but I think it would be much better if they "decided" not to make Maisie in the 1st place instead. Even if they eventually become good parents, they just screwed themselves of their own childhood.

I am seriously starting to doubt the 1st line of Whitney Houston's song "Greatest Love of All" right now. The supposed "future" is already creating another batch of "future" and we older ones ain't even dead yet.

It's that time of the year again...
    Saturday, February 14, 2009

Wherein Dangwa becomes ridiculously overcrowded with people in search for not the perfect, but the most affordable cliché of a valentines gift known to mankind. (can't blame them though, must be the economic crisis' fault!)

    Happy Valentines day guys! =)

    Congratulations to the Tropang Texters...
    Thursday, February 12, 2009

For becoming champions on the recently concluded PBA Philipine Cup.

Talk and Text team owner Manny V. Pangilinan flanked by his boys

They certainly deserved it, going the distance against a fierce Alaska Aces squad in the finals that was only decided in the dying minutes of a grueling 7 game series.

It will only be the franchise's 2nd championship since entering the league which makes it much sweeter as the last time they won it was still back in 2003.

Again, it's loud and clear... Talk and Text Tropang Texters, 2009 PBA Philippine Cup Champions!

    Photo fun with Photofunia
    Wednesday, February 11, 2009

A couple of days earlier, I posted a very poorly planted segway on Obama's inauguration, I was planning to manually photo-manipulate that vector art on some real life visual mediums until I stumbled upon a website which absolutely did all the dirty work for me.

A sample of what I'm talking about:

Hmmm, Esquire coverboy? not too shabby at all

You can see more samples and find out where and how to make one for yourself using your very own pics right after the jump.

All you have to do is,

    - go to: www.photofunia.com

    - click on the template you want your beautiful "mug" (face) to be placed in

    - upload your photo, preferably a clear and well lit one (like a passport photo)

    - wait for it to load and merge with your chosen template

    - voila! save the final product on your PC/laptop

Below are the rest of the samples:

    On a reconstructed building

    Torn billboard

On another billboard... which is still torn

    Posters

    In the Big Apple

And finally, smothered by two female "fans"

It's basically foolproof, it even has it's own advanced face detection system for those who can't crop their pics even if their lives depended on it. As long as you're literate (which you obviously are, since you successfully reached this part of my post... congratulations!) then you're good to go.

Ray Park was built for this kind of roles

Any hot girl in a skin tight fitting leather suit, wielding guns, and wearing eyeglasses will always equal to a win!

    Deadman Walking...
    Sunday, February 1, 2009

Walking out of his marriage with Sara that is.

The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels at the Royal Rumble

Rumors started buzzing that WWE Supertar The Undertaker (Mark Calaway) and Sara plans to end their 9 year union with a divorce. Now it seems to be confirmed by The Undertaker himself that those rumors are indeed true when he was seen in the recent WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view with his famous "Sara" neck-tattoo removed.

Yes, the truth can be told without without uttering a single word

I remember an interview of Taker wherein he was asked something along these lines "Which of your tattoos hurt the most when it was being made?" and He responded "the Sara neck tatoo" so I'm pretty sure it was no cake walk for him to get rid of it as well.

It is said that he is currently dating Michelle McCool, a WWE diva which is 14 years his junior (nothing wrong with that, just stating some facts people!). If they do indeed become a couple, it would be interesting to see The Undertaker sport a "McCool" neck tattoo because that would be... well, uhm... cool.
