Photo fun with Photofunia
Wednesday, February 11, 2009
ADVERTISEMENT
A couple of days earlier, I posted a very poorly planted segway on Obama's inauguration, I was planning to manually photo-manipulate that vector art on some real life visual mediums until I stumbled upon a website which absolutely did all the dirty work for me.
A sample of what I'm talking about:
Hmmm, Esquire coverboy? not too shabby at all
You can see more samples and find out where and how to make one for yourself using your very own pics right after the jump.
All you have to do is,
- go to: www.photofunia.com
- click on the template you want your beautiful "mug" (face) to be placed in
- upload your photo, preferably a clear and well lit one (like a passport photo)
- wait for it to load and merge with your chosen template
- voila! save the final product on your PC/laptop
Below are the rest of the samples:
 On a reconstructed building
 Torn billboard
On another billboard... which is still torn
 Posters
 In the Big Apple
And finally, smothered by two female "fans"
It's basically foolproof, it even has it's own advanced face detection system for those who can't crop their pics even if their lives depended on it. As long as you're literate (which you obviously are, since you successfully reached this part of my post... congratulations!) then you're good to go.

This looks great, I checked out photofunia and I really liked the concept.
My question is how did you make the cool picture you uploaded to the site?
